Battle 5000 is the fifth issue of Battle Magazine, published on the 18th of August 2023.[1] It was risograph printed on fully recycled pop set 125gsm Eco100 paper and was hand collated and bound. Each issue came with a pair of white 3D glasses stamped with the Battle Magazine 5000 logo.

Launch event[]
A launch event was held at Maggies Ōtepoti on the 18th of August 2023, featuring performances from DJs DZNE and Neezy. Entry to the gig was free, with the magazine's launch price being $25.[1]
