Hana Chatani, known professionally as Hakobore, is Japanese-Kiwi traditional painter and comic artist. They started their studies in Bachelor of Fine Arts at Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, transferring to and graduating in 2017 from Kobe Design University, Japan, majoring in painting. Hana is currently based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, New Zealand.[1]
Hana has done work for Christchurch Art Gallery, The Spinoff, BOOM! Studios, and ShortBox. For literary works such as comics, graphic novels and book cover art, Hana is represented by agent Jas Perry at KT Literary.[1]
