Jem Yoshioka (She/Her) is an award-winning Japanese-New Zealander comic artist and illustrator from Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington. She attended the Whanganui School of Design with Rachel Smythe.

Her webcomic, Circuits and Veins, was published fortnightly on Webtoon fromthe 24th of July 2017 until its conclusion on the 30th of August 2020.[1] In May 2019, she was featured in Under the Rainbow, a zine by Sam Orchard highlighting queer and trans comic artists and illustrators of Aotearoa New Zealand.[2] On the 9th of January 2022, Jem removed her webcomic, Folk Remedy, from all online platforms, to begin pitching it as a graphic novel to publishers.[3] She is represented by Jas Perry at KT Literary.[4][5]
